Ski center Bansko offers excellent conditions for skiing in the months from December to April. Runs of varying difficulty for beginners and advanced, modern ski facilities, ski and snowboard schools are at your disposal.

The popular Belitsa Dancing Bears Park is located in the same area. Here, visitors can learn about the life of bears in their natural habitat and take a walk in the green park.
The park is a protected area in Bulgaria that provides a chance for a new life for rescued brown bears in a safe natural environment. Originally built as a sanctuary for dancing bears from Bulgaria, it is now home to bears rescued from unsuitable living conditions in various countries such as Albania, Croatia, North Macedonia, Serbia, and Ukraine.

Treat yourself to a unique summer experience – a journey on the iconic narrow-gauge railway from Bansko along one of the most scenic railway routes in Bulgaria.
The Septemvri–Dobrinishte narrow-gauge railway is the only operating narrow-gauge railway in Bulgaria. Built gradually between 1921 and 1945, it connects the Upper Thracian Plain with the Rhodope, Rila, and Pirin Mountains, passing through mountain tunnels, bridges, and breathtaking panoramas.
Why choose the narrow-gauge railway?
Along the route, the train reaches Avramovo Station (1,267 m above sea level) – the highest railway station in the Balkans, turning the journey into a true mountain adventure.
